This Privacy Policy explains how Verk Vibe ("Verk Vibe," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit verkvibe.com, contact us, purchase a publication, book a consultation, or otherwise engage with our services (collectively, the "Services"). It also describes the rights you have under California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and other US state privacy laws.
By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact information you provide when you email us, complete the intake form, or book a consultation: name, email address, phone number, organization, and any details you share about your situation.
- Transaction information when you purchase a publication or bundle: order details, products purchased, and amounts. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
- Booking information when you schedule a consultation through TidyCal: name, email, scheduling preferences, and any notes you provide.
- Account information if you create an account to access purchased materials: email, hashed password (managed by our authentication provider), and authentication metadata.
- Technical information automatically collected when you visit the site: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the site.
- Communications you send us, including the content of emails and messages.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (as defined under CCPA/CPRA) unless you voluntarily share it as part of a consultation, investigation, or training engagement. Do not send sensitive details through unsecured channels.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services, including delivering purchased publications and consultations.
- Respond to your inquiries, support requests, and communications.
- Process transactions and manage your account.
- Send service communications (order confirmations, scheduling notices, updates to publications you purchased) and, with your consent or where permitted by law, marketing communications you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- Secure the Services, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.

- Conduct internal analytics to understand how the Services are used.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Services under contract, including: payment processing (Stripe), scheduling (TidyCal), website hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, authentication and database services (Supabase), and analytics. These providers are restricted to processing personal information on our behalf.
- Professional advisors such as our attorneys and accountants, where reasonably necessary.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a minimum set of cookies and similar technologies needed to operate the site, remember your session, and understand basic, aggregated usage. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work without them. If we add additional analytics or advertising technologies in the future, this section will be updated and, where required, we will ask for your consent.

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to portability: receive your personal information in a portable format.
- Right to opt out of any sale of personal information or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not engage in either; this remains your right.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information.

- Right to appeal a denial of your request, where state law provides one (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others).
California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), Delaware (DPDPA), Iowa (ICDPA), New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Tennessee, and other state residents: you may exercise the rights described above by contacting us at the address below. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the timeframe required by your state.
Authorized agents: California residents may use an authorized agent to submit a request, subject to verification.
"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": Verk Vibe does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide the required opt-out mechanism.
Shine the Light (California Civil Code § 1798.83): California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (such as tax, accounting, and recordkeeping), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by category and purpose; we delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us immediately.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for adults and B2B audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the US, you understand that your information will be processed in the US, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
11. Third-Party Links
The site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, Stripe checkout and TidyCal booking). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
